They wrote hits for Jay and the Americans, Paul Revere and the Raiders and most notably for the Monkees, such as “Last Train To Clarksville,” “Words,” “Valleri” and their TV show’s theme. They also composed the enduring theme to “Days Of Our Lives.” It appears the video is from the “Hollywood Palace” variety show, hosted this time by Herb Alpert.
