Question:
Do you ever plan on mentioning PICTURES OF MATCHSTICK MEN by The Status Quo and SUNDAY MORNING 6 A.M. by The Camel Drivers?
Realizing those are not the first songs to come to most people's minds, but still ....

Answer:
“Matchstick” is coming up in a few weeks. Had never heard of the Camel Drivers. It looks like from THE Google they were from the Detroit area and got limited airplay on CKLW back in the day. These guys did the original of Lou Christie’s “I’m Gonna Make You Mine.” “Sunday Morning 6 A.M.” never charted nationally from what I can tell, though. Interesting song! Thanks!

Check out the WKNR "Keener 13" charts as well when looking up Detroit-area top-40 radio from the '60s and early '70s.
