"Western Union" #5 4/22/1967

The biggest hit for the Dallas-based Five Americans came from a sign the band saw on a storefront in Oregon where telegrams could be sent via Western Union. These days, millennials would ask, "What's a telegram?" The group had two more Top 40 entries. One was titled...wait for it..."Zip Code." You can't make this stuff up.
