About Me

Hi! I'm Larry Cave, originally from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, now calling south Mississippi home. My first love (well, other than my wife) is the music of the Beatles-era 60's (64-70). I hosted a Saturday night oldies show from 1993-98 on the late, great WLCC- FM in Luray, VA. Back in November 2013 on my Facebook page, I started posting songs from the period immediately after the JFK assassination. The two month + time frame of American popular music from then until the Beatles lit it up on Ed Sullivan still fascinates me. I just kept on going with a 50-years-ago look back at Top 40 music on Facebook, and figured I'd try it in the blogosphere. Hope you enjoy it!
