More unmistakable funk from James Brown, and more evidence he had the tightest band in the business. This wasn’t one of those two-part singles that JB was famous for doing. Nope, you got Parts 1, 2 and 3 for your money. Parts 1 and 2 were on the same side of the 45 so that’s what became the hit, a #1 on the soul charts. Jump back! I wanna kiss myself!
